TOURING Interactive Ocean EXHIBITION EXPERIENCE

first shown at the australian national maritime museum, marCH to may 2022.

next showing: POP-UP exhibition at the volvo ocean lovers festival, bondi 21-24 march 2024.

Ever wondered what it would be like to sneak a peek below the ocean’s surface on the Great Barrier Reef, or to venture farther afield to the Galapagos Islands or a remote coral key in the Pacific Ocean?

Imagine coming face to face with a manta ray, or a school of bumphead parrotfish amongst the underwater wreck of a ship, or exploring amongst Palau’s famous lettuce coral gardens as if you were a fish.

Out of Sight Out Of Mind is an interactive exhibition experience that reveals what there is to admire, love and protect about the ocean.

Underwater photographer and adventurer, Christophe Bailhache, showcases his unique panoramic images, taken during ten years of Underwater Earth expeditions.

Thanks to QR codes and your mobile phone, you will be transported into the images allowing you to explore each unique underwater world.

Out of Sight Out Of Mind has been designed to reveal how curious and diverse life under the waves is; to remind us of the importance of the ocean; the issues it faces and the critical work being done to protect it.

If you are interested in exploring how Out of Sight Out Of Mind could come to your venue, please the curator, Lorna Parry, below.

A new Schools Guide with Worksheets for teachers and students now also accompanies Out of Sight Out Of Mind. If you would like a copy, please email the curator, Lorna Parry, below.
